Engagement detail
What the short summary leaves out.
Scope, implementation choices and publication boundaries for this engagement.
Scoping the commercial question
The engagement began with the decisions a California cleaning customer needs to make before requesting a quote: which service fits the property, what the visit includes, how location affects availability and what information the provider needs. This narrowed the work to commercial pages that could support a real enquiry instead of a broad publishing programme.
Page architecture decisions
Services were separated by customer need rather than repeated as interchangeable keyword pages. Each priority page received a clear provider, service definition, suitability notes, operating process and next step. Local references were used where they changed the decision; generic city-name repetition was not treated as evidence of local relevance.
Review and publication boundary
The implementation history and controlled question set make the content changes reproducible. Client-approved records confirm the engagement, while the public case deliberately omits percentages that cannot yet be paired with an approved period, denominator and source artifact. The useful claim is the documented improvement in service clarity and measurement readiness.
Measurement handoff
The final measurement brief defined which questions belonged in the baseline, which page should answer each intent and how observations would be recorded. It separated brand mentions, visible citations, website referrals and enquiries so later reporting could not convert an answer capture into a lead. The client received the page-level implementation record and the rules required to repeat the review after the content had been indexed and remained stable.
Clearer services, stronger answer-ready content and a measurable route to commercial action.
This case is presented with the level of detail currently approved for publication. It shows the work and observed outcome without turning a single project into a promise for every brand.
